Recreate fond memories of the past with our vintage Checkers pattern! Today we are sharing a recipe that will last for generations: Mexican Chili. There’s just something about a fall chili recipe that kicks off the holiday season.
Checkers Small Bistro
Americana Large Bistro Bowl
1 can of light kidney beans (rinsed)
1 can of dark kidney beans (rinsed)
1 can of black beans (rinsed)
1 can of pinto beans (rinsed)
1 can of corn (drained)
2 cans of tomato sauce
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 medium onion (diced)
1 bell pepper (diced)
4 tablespoon minced garlic
2 packets of chili seasoning
4 cups of vegetable broth
*optional 1 pound ground meat cooked
*optional diced jalapeños to taste for some heat
- Dump everything into a slow cooker!
- Stir well until combined
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or cook on low for 7-8 hours
- Top with a dollop of sour cream, cheese, tortilla strips, and parsley
